DevOps Lead

At Taskeeper, we're on a mission to modernize how the construction industry operates. We’re building intuitive, high-performance tools that help companies manage complex projects, proposals, teams, customers, and suppliers—simplifying the day-to-day for builders everywhere.

From day one, Taskeeper has been a remote-first company. Our growing team is distributed across Europe, MiddleEast, and Africa. What unites us is a passion for purposeful software, a bias for action, and a deep respect for clean, scalable code. We care about craftsmanship, user experience, and long-term maintainability.

We’re hiring a DevOps Lead to take ownership of our infrastructure strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud operations. You’ll partner closely with engineering leadership and product teams to ensure that our deployments are fast, secure, and highly available—so we can keep delivering with confidence.

  • Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes
  • Set up and maintain observability tools (monitoring, alerting, logging)
  • Implement robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
  • Collaborate with engineers on service scalability and reliability
  • Ensure best practices in cloud security, IAM, and secrets management
  • Evaluate and introduce new DevOps tools and standards across the stack
  • Help shape internal tooling for developer productivity

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles
  • Deep knowledge of CI/CD workflows, containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes or equivalent)
  • Experience managing production workloads in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
  • Strong infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
  • Familiar with build tools, package registries, and dependency management
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
  • Clear communicator, proactive collaborator, and comfortable with async work
  • Bonus: experience scaling infrastructure for multi-tenant SaaS applications

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Challenging, impactful projects that shape real-world workflows
  • Remote-first culture with async-friendly communication
  • Competitive salary + equity with employee-friendly terms
  • 5 weeks of paid vacation
  • 4 months of paid parental leave
