Front End Developer

At Taskeeper, we're on a mission to modernize how the construction industry operates. We’re building intuitive, high-performance tools that help companies manage complex projects, proposals, teams, customers, and suppliers—simplifying the day-to-day for builders everywhere.

From day one, Taskeeper has been a remote-first company. Our growing team is distributed across Europe, MiddleEast, and Africa. What unites us is a passion for purposeful software, a bias for action, and a deep respect for clean, scalable code. We care about craftsmanship, user experience, and long-term maintainability.

We’re looking for a Front-End Developer with strong JavaScript skills to help us build reliable, elegant interfaces that power our core platform. You'll work closely with product designers, backend engineers, and founders to bring ideas to life—and shape how thousands of professionals interact with Taskeeper every day.

  • Collaborate with design to translate UI/UX into responsive, accessible interfaces
  • Write maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code
  • Improve performance and usability across the platform
  • Help define and evolve our front-end architecture and component structures
  • Integrate with backend APIs and contribute to testing strategies
  • Take part in code reviews and support overall quality practices

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development with JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and browser behavior
  • Experience building responsive layouts and optimizing for performance
  • Strong grasp of accessibility, semantic markup, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Ability to work autonomously and make pragmatic decisions
  • Experience consuming REST APIs or similar backend integrations
  • Familiarity with modular architecture and modern build tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite)
  • Bonus: experience with animation, transitions, and vanilla JS libraries

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Challenging, impactful projects that shape real-world workflows
  • Remote-first culture with async-friendly communication
  • Competitive salary + equity with employee-friendly terms
  • 5 weeks of paid vacation
  • 4 months of paid parental leave
